Number Movers makes maths physical: a Maths-in-Motion Quest for ages 5–10 with twelve missions in four powers — Count Crew (Jump & Count, Countdown Blast), Add & Take (Dice Hops, Make Ten, Take-Away Squats), Shape Makers (Body Circle, Triangle Trek, Square Steps) and Measure Masters (Giant vs Baby, Beat the Timer).

This is a true dual-badged card — HPE Moving Our Body (AC9HPEFM01/2M01/4M01) crossed with Mathematics Number, Space & Measurement is printed right on it — so the counting, adding, shape-making and comparing is the learning, not decoration. Kids count reps out loud, freeze at ten, and run pathways with exactly three corners. The logbook extends it with a Roll & Move dice table (older students roll two dice and add first), a move-matching task and an invent-a-number-move box.

Needs nothing beyond the students — dice, chalk spots and number cards are optional extras. Sits alongside Movement Bingo and Weather Words: Move Like the Sky in the cross-curricular movement family.

What students learn

Combine locomotor movement with early numeracy — counting and number sense, adding and taking away, forming 2D shapes with the body, and measuring and comparing distances and time through active tasks.

Topics: numeracy, cross-curricular, maths, counting, shapes, measurement, active learning
