Jungle Explorer Circuit
Category: Fitness · 2-page printable PDF · Ages F-2 · Free for ConnectedPE members
A six-station fundamental movement skills circuit where F–2 students move like jungle animals — jumping, crawling, balancing and prowling their way around the room. Zero equipment, explicitly relief-teacher ready, with Foundation, Developing and Extending levels built into every station.
Animal movements are the classic early-years vehicle for FMS because the imagery does the coaching: a frog jump lands soft and low, a flamingo stands still, a crocodile crawls close to the ground. Students self-select their challenge level in real time, so the circuit differentiates itself while you circulate and coach. Mapped to AC9HPEF01 and AC9HPE2M01.
Two pages covering station cards and setup. Use it as a full lesson, a recurring warm-up circuit, or the sub-folder lesson that requires no equipment, no specialist knowledge and no preparation — just space and imagination. Pairs with Safari Circuit for a second themed rotation.
