Everybody In! — Inclusive Adaptation Guide

Category: Games & Activities · 2-page printable PDF · Ages F-2, 3-4 · Free for ConnectedPE members

One cooperative game — Pollen Patrol — that every child plays together, with nobody ever out. That single design choice changes everything: no elimination means no students standing on the sideline watching others get the practice they need most.

The guide pairs the game with a STEP-framework teacher adaptation sheet (Space, Task, Equipment, People), so you can dial the challenge up or down for every learner in the same shared space — including students with additional needs — without splitting the class or singling anyone out. Foundation, Developing and Extending tiers plus reflection prompts complete the package, mapped to AC9HPEFM01, AC9HPE2M01, AC9HPEFP02 and AC9HPE2P02 for F–4.

Students practise fundamental movement skills with control while cooperating, including others and playing fairly — the social outcomes are baked into the game structure, not bolted on. Two pages, minimal equipment, and a genuinely useful model for adapting any game you already run.
