Bounce Squad
Category: Sport Skills · 2-page printable PDF · Ages F-2, 3-4 · Free for ConnectedPE members
A ball-bouncing student activity card and journal built around one core cue: push, don't slap. Twelve missions take F–4 students through bounce & catch, dribbling, aiming and passing, and trick moves — the full foundation of basketball-style ball control.
Each mission is small enough to feel winnable and specific enough to build real technique: fingertip pushes, eyes up, controlled force, bouncing to a target. Students track their progress in the journal, which keeps them self-directed at a station while you coach where you're needed — and gives you a record of who's progressed through which skills.
Works as a stand-alone FMS unit, a station in a ball-skills circuit, or the lead-in weeks to a junior basketball unit. The journal format also makes it a natural home-practice card for students who want more touches. Two pages, one ball per student (any bouncy ball works), print-and-go.
What students learn
