The quest to engage higher level thinking.
In this session we will introduce Essential Questions/ Guiding Questions and Inquiry in Physed. We will discuss what Inquiry and Conceptual based learning look like in my Physed classes through Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU) and apply this approach through practical games examples. We will then examine Visible Thinking Routines (VTRs) and how these can be used in Physed classes to promote higher order learning for our students.
